The Chamber of Hong Kong Listed Companies is a non-profit organization. Since 2007, the Chamber and the Center for Corporate Governance and Financial Policy of Hong Kong Baptist University have jointly organized the Hong Kong Corporate Governance & ESG Excellence Awards annually to recognize and commend listed companies that have made outstanding achievements in shareholder rights, compliance, integrity, fairness, responsibility, accountability, transparency, board independence and leadership, and ESG.

The?Hong Kong Economic Journal,?as a professional financial media in Hong Kong, organized the "Listed Company Awards of Excellence" for the ninth year. It selects listed companies with outstanding performance through rigorous and professional evaluation in order to encourage listed companies to strive for excellence and progress. The selection process involves the use of EJFQ, a stock-tracking system exclusively developed by the Hong Kong Economic Journal. Companies are shortlisted based on four important criteria: the Piotroski F-Score, the number of recommendations made by professional analysts, share price performance, and financial performance.
